It was once said of Bonnie and Clyde: "They're young. They're in love. They kill people." Now you can add a fourth description to this infamous his-and-her gangster team: They sing. Composed by Frank Wildhorn ("Jekyll & Hyde"), with lyrics by Academy Award winner Don Black ("Sunset Boulevard"), "Bonnie & Clyde" weaves rockabilly, blues and gospel music into the story of how two small-time nobodies in West Texas became America's most notorious, alluring and fearless folk heroes. Monumental Theatre Co. brings America's favorite hell-raising outlaws to the stage of the Blackbox Theatre at the Ainslie Arts Center on the campus of Alexandria's Episcopal High School.
